The passive Sport Vibrations® cooling mat works with a 100% non-toxic cooling gel, which absorbs the animal's body heat and releases it back into the air through evaporation. The self-cooling effect of the gel is activated by body contact and pressure. This mat cools for hours without prior cooling, the gel stays supple, and the surface is a comfortable nylon face material.

The cooling mat feels very comfortable and slightly cool. Only when your pet is lying on the Cooling-Mat will the body cool down through contact. Body heat is dissipated, comparable to putting your feet in a water bath. The cooling mat absorbs body heat and allows it to evaporate, creating a cooling effect. Since the cooling mat only gradually cools down body temperature, it is healthier for your pet instead of lying on a very cold other surface.

Application tips

If the mat is to be used in a box, it is important to know that the animals should always (also when used in the box) have the option of not necessarily having to lie down on the cooling mat!

Some dogs just cool down for a moment and then switch beds again. Others are only partially on the mat. This possibility should always be given in a dog box. For use in a box, the size of the mat is better to choose a size smaller and not to fill the floor.

The cooling mat can always be folded up, so that the lying surface can easily be halved.

The Sport Vibrations® cooling mat cools about 3 to 4° C below body temperature. If the animal leaves the mat, it will usually be fully automatically regenerated and ready for use within approx. 20 minutes.

Important tips for getting the animals used to the cooling mat:

Initially, a thin, soft cloth can be placed over the mat to get used to it.
It can also be helpful to place the cooling mat on typical dog walking paths so that the animal has to walk over it first and thus quickly get used to the cooling mat. Of course, treats can also help to accept the cooling mat faster.

In any case, the animals should always be given the choice of lying on the cooling mat or not. The animals should always have the option to change places whenever they want. Animals often only stay on the cooling mat for a short period of time and then move on to another surface.

Important ! Pay attention to the ground!
Sharp stones, sticks or debris can damage the surface of the cooling pad.
